Emergency Medical Services Training 

We are pleased to announce our participation in a tuition reimbursement program through the Alaska Department of Labor! Corporate or private courses can be scheduled to meet the needs of your organization and conducted anywhere in Alaska. Public enrollment courses in-person are taught at our training center in Anchorage. Our instructors are certified by the American Heart Association and by the Alaska Department of Health. All our courses emphasize hands-on skills and the practical application of knowledge. 

Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT)

Prerequisite: 14 years old or older

Cost: $575 - Tuition includes a textbook, materials and supplies.

Prerequisite: ETT certification or equivalent,  current BLS CPR certification.  Student needs to be 18 years old to hold an EMT license.

How does the hybrid schedule work?

  • 40 - 60 hours of online learning including multiple Zoom sessions per week.

  • 40 hours of in-person skills practice and test prep.

  • Licensing exams are conducted by appointment.

EMT Refresher

Prerequisite: EMT license and a current BLS CPR certification.

Cost: $400 - Tuition includes materials and supplies.

Licensing fees are paid directly to the licensing body by the student.

Who should take this course? ​​​​

  • Those seeking to maintain a State of Alaska EMT1 license.

  • Those seeking to maintain an NREMT EMT certification.

16 hrs online + 24 hrs in-person

Prerequisite: ETT certification up to 1 year expired.

Cost: $400 - Tuition includes materials and supplies.

Prerequisites:

Dates: Sept 29-Oct 4

Times:  0830- 1730

Cost: $1200- Tuition includes materials and supplies.

Licensing fees are paid directly to the licensing body by the student.

Why take this course? ​​​​

  • EMT 2 course will prepare the EMT 1 for advanced IV skills, Advanced airway management, and extensive pathophysiology review and application.  Medication administration along with drug-to-drug interactions.

Approx 50 hours In-person
